New Moms, New Babies Birth-6 Months

This group provides mothers with the opportunity to obtain practical information about infant development and parenthood, while also sharing experiences with other mothers. With a small group of the same participants each week, mothers and babies can have more individualized attention and enjoy continuity between sessions. Facilitated by Robyn Landow, PhD, psychologist in private practice.

Breastfeeding Group

This support group provides mothers with an opportunity to sit and nurse their babies, schmooze with other moms, ask questions, and get some answers. Led by Beverly Solow, a board certified lactation consultant who has been assisting nursing mothers for over 16 years. Pregnant women are also welcome.

Caring for Your Newborn Baby

This fun, hands-on workshop will teach prenatal parents to find humor and joy in the care routines for your new babies. Topics covered include: questions to ask before you leave the hospital or birthing center; preparing the home for the baby’s arrival; circumcision and umbilical cord care; bathing and dressing; breastfeeding; how to handle a colicky baby; and a lot more! Led by Andrea Syms-Brown, IBCLC, CIMI, with 20 years of experience as a newborn care specialist/educator. Snacks will be provided. For your convenience, this workshop repeats four times. Choose the date that works best for you.
