Arlekino @ Havurah 4-6 Years
Havurah, the JCC's hands-on Jewish education program that encourages children to create their own Jewish identity while having fun, is excited to continue working with Arlekino Theater Troupe, which strives to form Jewish identity among Russian-speaking Jewish children through cultural arts. The program includes dramatic play, music, storytelling, and art workshops, inspiring young children through interactive interpretations of Jewish folktales, courtesy of the PJ Library. Zshuk Art Initiative Experiential Art and Jewish Culture Class 7-12 Years
Zshuk Art Initiative returns to Generation R with a special, semester-long experiential art program for children ages 7-12. Children will be introduced to the works of famous and emerging Jewish artists, learning techniques for collage, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, among others. The class will end with a celebration of Shabbat. Taught in Russian by a professional teaching artist.
