Visit to Brooklyn Navy Yard For 165 years the Navy Yard has built and repaired the nation's warships. Explore the 300-acre property and get a closer look at the Yard's most intriguing sites, including a dry dock that was in use before the Civil War, and a 24-acre former NAvy hospital campus virtually frozen in time.
