Masonic Lodge Tour
The Masonry is the oldest fraternity in the world. Members include Ben Franklin, George Washington, heroes, and day laborers. The New York lodge is amazing. Backstage at the MET
The Metropolitan Opera House backstage tour is one of the most interesting tours in the city. We will see the huge elevators that transport the sets, and the extremely intricate stage and all the ways it can be changed. Kehila Kedosha Janina Romaniote Greek Synagogue
Lunch and Tour Just around the corner from today's Chinatown on the historic Lower East Side lies a little known hidden treasure—the only synagogue in the Western Hemisphere of Romaniote Jews who lived in Greece following the destruction of the Second Temple and developed unique customs over the next 2,000 years. Marcia Haddad-Ikonomopoulos, director of the museum at the Janina Synagogue, will take you on a tour of the treasures and you'll enjoy a traditional Greek-Jewish kosher lunch of salad, yaprakes, bourekas, kourlouia, seasonal fruit; and beverages.
