Day Trip to the Hudson Valley: A Visit to Hyde Park
Tour Springwood, the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt, as well as the presidential museum and library, and Val-Kill, the only national historic site dedicated to a First Lady, where Mrs. Roosevelt welcomed her many guests. Enjoy the lovely gardens and grounds on the site, including the rose garden, ice house, stables, and gravesite. Box lunches will be provided. Pre-registration is required. For 165 years the Navy Yard has built and repaired the nation's warships. Explore the 300-acre property and get a closer look at the Yard's most intriguing sites, including a dry dock that was in use before the Civil War, and a 24-acre former NAvy hospital campus virtually frozen in time. The Navy Yard has been off limits to the public until recently and it's a fascinating facility to explore! Meet in the JCC lobby. Pre-registration required.
