The cuisine of Turkey combines some of the best flavors from the Mediterranean as well as the Middle East. Join Jennifer Abadi, Middle Eastern food expert and author of A Fistful of Lentils, for a healthy vegetarian meal reflecting this unusual Eurasian combination of ingredients. Menu may include spicy feta cheese dip with garlic, paprika, and dried mint; creamy pea soup with onions and mint; white bean stew with olive oil, tomatoes, and garlic; baked eggplant halves with onions, sweet peppers, garlic, and parsley; and semolina pudding with butter and pine nuts.
