60+ Program Liaisons

The JCC has a large and diverse array of offerings for the 60+ community each season. Become a 60+ Program Liaison volunteer and help other seniors explore the endless possibilities and pathways available through JCC programs. Volunteers assist in tailoring peers' JCC experiences to meet their personal goals and interests, and help lead them to discover new and exciting opportunities. Located just inside the Membership Office.

Liaison Hours:
Mondays, 10am-3pm
Tuesdays + Thursdays, 1-4pm
Wednesdays, 10am-1pm

Do you have a teaching, social work, or otherwise specialized background? You could possibly lead one or more of our wonderful ongoing senior programs, such as the Social and Political Discussion groups, support groups, or other programs in your area of expertise. Meetings could be a one-time event or run as a series.

This volunteering opportunity is for adults ages 50+ who enjoy teaching computer skills. Instruct seniors on various topics such as Macs, PCs, smartphones, tablet devices, and social media. These programs run from September through June. All classes are taught on a PC, Mac or mobile device by knowledgeable volunteers. Each student has his/her own computer station and teachers use modern visual instruction aids. Courses meet once or twice a week and are held in the state-of-the-art Andy Kates Multi-Media Room at the JCC. To learn more, click here.
